It won't be like this for long.....

Trying to keep track of everything for a family of four and always doing the right thing is hard. Trying to do that while not losing my patience with my children is even harder. They are sooo good and hardly ever give me any trouble, but on the days that they do, I try and remember that they won't be this age forever and that when they no longer need my assistance with everything I will be sad. The song "It Won't Be Like This For Long" by Darius Rucker makes me want to cherish every "He's looking at me!", "I had that toy first" and "You never let me do ANYTHING!". It even makes me realize that I should appreciate the fact that Brady wouldn't go into his Sunday School class this morning because he wanted mommy. In a few years, I am sure he won't want mommy and will go running into his class without a glance back at me. So one of my delayed New Year's resolutions is to live in the moment and enjoy not having a moment to myself on some days. I know one day I will look back and wish someone wanted my attention every second of the day :)

I love the peacefulness of this picture!

such a bad blog keeper

I am not sure how many people keep up with this thing, but I am sorry for the ones that do. I have been very very bad. Part of the reason I have not updated is because (1) I am just a tad busy and (2) something is wrong with my Kodak Easyshare software and I need to have it re-installed so that my pictures are good to go. I am a very superfical blogger. I like more pictures and less writing (because I am lazy :)) So just bare with me. Hopefully everything will be fixed soon and I can post a gazillion pictures from the entire summer and my Breast Cancer 3-Day experience (Oct 16-18) I am soooo excited!!!!!! Check back. I promise I will have new pics on here soon.

Our AWESOME day at American Girl Doll in NYC!!

Waiting for the Train

On the Train.....

Looking at all the tall buildings....

All of us crammed into one taxi....one crazy flippin' taxi....

We all arrived safely. This is them outside the store...FINALLY :)

One picture from across the busy NY street.

This was taken in PART of the Bitty Baby section.....it was Bitty Baby HEAVEN...
(Note: Sabrina is holding the newest edition to our family, her AGD....KIT!!)

Downstairs in the Historical Doll section....This place was AMAZING!
We had time before lunch, so we went down to Rockafeller Center.

A pretty fountain.

Alexa's Bitty Baby, Zippidy Doo Daa, lost one of her BRAND NEW bed time slippers and the wonderful staff at the Concierge replaced them. They were WONDERFUL and almost made Laura G. cry because they were so sweet and kind to Alexa.

Being seated for lunch! Yippeeee...we were SOOOOO hungry.......

They had special seats and place settings for all our babies!

Mommy, Sabrina and Kit

We all toasted to our wonderful day....

Eating the yummy appetizer of pretzels, veggies and dip, cheddar cheese and
chicken salad phillo cups.....
The decor in the Daisy Room was soooooo cute. I LOVED it more than the girls :)

The mommies loved it even more when we realized they had wine, mimosas and bellinis!!

This was my bellini and it was soooo good.

Devon and her mommy were there to celebrate her birthday!! We were shocked and EXCITED to see them.

Their lunch came with fruit-ka-bobs :)

On each table was an adorable box with suggestions for conversations.

The dessert was SOOO cute.
They EVEN had DOLL HOLDERS in all the pottys so you didn't have to place them anywhere that may be unsanitary when you had to "take care of business".....they have thought of everything!!!

On the train home....HAPPY!
